“The Honorable” Ned Stark vs. Jaime “The Kingslayer” Lannister

We all felt the tension between the Kingslayer and the Warden of the North in the Pilot Episode, and that tension only led to that moment. Jaime challenging Ned after his younger brother had been captured by Ned’s wife Catelyn, has to be one of the most tense moments in the first season.

Jon Snow vs. The White Walkers At Hardhome

Agreed by many to be the best episode of the entire series so far, largely due to the unexpected because it hadn’t occurred yet in the books fight between the Night’s Watch, the WIldlings and the White Walker Army.

Brienne Of Tarth vs. Sandor “The Hound” Clegane

Another fight that wasn’t in the books originally, but was welcomed by all fans. Lightsabers make it better…..
