Of all the deleted scenes included with the Season 5 DVD/Blu Ray Box Set of Game Of Thrones, this one stands the most as it foreshadows a key event in the season: Jon Snow’s Death.

Gauging for the timing, we would say this scene happens in the 5th episode of the 5th season, after Mance Rayder’s Death, and after Jon has been elected as the new Lord Commander of the Nights Watch.

Tormund Giantsbane, prisoner of the Nights Watch is brought before Ser Alliser Thorne who lets him know he’d have another way with him and the rest of the Wildlings. Tormund responds with daunting words: “You Must Not Be In Charge Then…” which leaves Alliser speechless, and angrier than before. Only this time, the anger is most likely aimed towards the newly elected Lord Commander of The Nights Watch, Jon Snow.

The scene that would have followed would have been the one where they discuss about the remainder of the Wildlings at Hardhome, Jon convincing Tormund by releasing his shackles that he’s not his prisoner, and by Tormund telling Jon must join them to Hardhome.
